Shoreline Yacht Transport Ltd is a family-run business dedicated to high standards of customer service. Terry and Melanie Ollerton, the owners, started the company in 1986. Previously Terry worked in a yacht yard dealing with every aspect of boating from the ground up through to management. This experience has proved invaluable, which is one of the reasons Shoreline has been so successful in the boat transport industry.
We are based in Chichester, West Sussex, close to the Hampshire border. This is an ideal location for UK deliveries and Channel ferry ports for onward movements into Europe, and we have vast knowledge and experience in organising your boat transport. We can liaise with both the loading and off-loading points and take of all the movement authorisations, European permits, police, escorts and ferry bookings where required. Steady expansion has led to a highly motivated team which specialises in the safe transport of yachts and motorboats throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. The introduction of several new purpose-built state-of-the-art trailers has enabled Shoreline to carry boats securely and very low to the ground. One of these is even equipped with hydraulically-powered rear-wheel steering which can be operated from within our cab to allow us to move larger craft by road. Our equipment is always held in very high regard throughout the industry.
