Wroath Marine was founded in 1983 by David Wroath; having had ten years in the marine industry, carrying out design and installation of electrical and electronic systems on high specification leisure and commercial craft.
In the first nine years of Wroath Marine, the majority of the work was complete electrical installations on twin screw vessels, specialising in lifeboats for the RNLI and Nelson design boats for private owners.
1993 saw the opening of the workshop and retail outlet in Cowes Yacht Haven. Having the Marina as a base, extended our service, repair and equipment installation to many boat owners local to Cowes, attracting work from Poole to Chichester while also supporting regatta yachts and worldwide visiting yachts. Wroath Marine now carry out international installations, working from their UK and Mediterranean Bases, and visiting our customer's vessels in Canada, Caribbean, Spain and France.
Since 2012 we are able to offer engineering, our onsite engineer has 40 years of marine experience specialising in inboard and outboard support Carrying out overhauls, services, diagnostics and repairs. Our Cowes Yacht Haven shop stocks Evinrude Outboards as well as spares and parts.
Since 2013 we became the Isle of Wight Agents for Grand Ribs, Supplying the tenders and sports ribs with electronics and Evinrude outboards. GRAND specialist in rigid inflatable tenders, riders and cruisers, aswell as folderable inflatable boats.
